i feel as though i need to explain a few things about the jock sturges post i made.

what i don't understand though is how do so many people in this community praise and adore trevor brown for his "brilliant" pieces of children in blatantly sexual situations, then come down on artist like jock sturges and sally mann and anna gaskel. i'm sure that most of you have pictures of yourselves or your children in the bathtub or the gratuitous baby-bottom shot on the blanket. don't you think people could view those as sexual too? that some pervert out there isn't googling pictures of babies in bathtubs?

so why?
why come down so hard on this? why not come down hard on everything?

i guess potraits of children in the nude will always be taboo.
